Freakonomics and SuperFreakonomics

Levitt’s style of research emphasizes asking questions to understand the economics of real-life issues. Freakonomics (2005) spent more than two years on the New York Times Best Seller list and has sold more than 5 million copies worldwide.

SuperFreakonomics, released in 2009, includes brand new research on topics from terrorism to prostitution to global warming. A radio show, movie, and illustrated edition of the book followed.

Steve is also the co-author of the popular Freakonomics Blog.
